- Hanno Kühnert (22 April 1934 – 16 May 2003): German lawyer, journalist and writer who wrote an article in 1969 believed to have given to the then Hesse Prime Minister Georg-August Zinn the impetus for the creation of the Hesse Data Protection Act, the first data protection law ever.
