🇪🇺 🇮🇱 The European Commission adopts a Decision on 31 January 2011 on the adequate protection of personal data by Israel with regard to automated processing of personal data.

⚖️ The Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) decides in ASNEF (C-468/10 & C-469/10), on 24 November 2011.
The Article 29 Working Party publishes its 14th annual report, covering 2010.
At the Council of Europe, are published the results of the Consultation concerning the modernisation of Convention 108 (T-PD-BUR(2011) 01 MOS rev 6, June 2011).
🇨🇷 Costa Rica adopts the Ley No. 8968 de Protección de la persona frente al tratamiento de sus datos personales.
🇵🇪 Peru adopts the Ley N.° 2973, de Protección de Datos Personales.
🇦🇴 Angola adopts the Lei No. 22/11 da Protecção de Dados Pessoais de 17 de Junho.
